Weighing Solutions

World leader in multihead weighing, Ishida continues to develop the technology in two notable directions. For all those applications out there that already benefit from its speed, accuracy and hygiene, there is the competitive advantage to be gained by technological improvements that make packing even more rapid and efficient, while maintaining or improving accuracy. Under this heading come a new High speed weigher for large target weight applications such as French fries, frozen vegetables or dry pet food. The economics of pre-mixing versus mixing on the weigher are definitely shifted in favour of the latter, more accurate approach with the arrival of an Ultra high-speed Compact Mix Weigher, while a new Fruit and Vegetables Weigher makes the case for multihead weighing of these healthy products even stronger.

Another major direction is the continuing extension of the speed, accuracy and hygiene of multihead weighing into applications previously seen as too difficult from a product handling point of view. At Interpack, an example of Ishida's Fresh Food Weighers, (just one of a very wide range capable of handling sticky products) will be on display, as will the latest Ishida Stick Weigher for long, fragile products such as bread sticks and 'cat sticks' that need packing into trays or bags.

The Ishida Cutgate weigher, an alternative to multihead weighing developed to handle sensitive granular products, will also be on display here, as will the Ishida CCW-R Linear Multihead Weigher, designed for small target weights of dry or frozen products.
