Ishida's Genetic Algorithm(TM) technology

The IX-GA software makes repeated changes to the program it uses in processing the image data from a foreign body. Those changes that enhance the image are encouraged; those that do not are allowed to 'die out'. As a result, the image seen by the operator becomes significantly clearer over time.

When setting up the machine for future use, this process can be applied once to specific test contaminants. From then on, the IX-GA will be able to detect that type of contaminant at the enhanced level of sensitivity.
